Rubin, Greenspan, Summers....I don't think so...maybe they reported to some others who saved the day....but these guys are small fry in the larger picture...

Uh, Shelia, you've forgotten your medication again... Alan Greenspan is the single most important man in this country... I know people who work for the Fed, and they shiver every time he makes a public comment because they know that people will make and lose fortunes on the basis of his words... as for Rubin and Summers, they were the architects of policies that let Russia go down the tubes (conceding limbs to save the body?)...right or wrong, thse gentlemen are the real players, not Klinton... don't talk about things you don't understand...

Thank you RU "Alan Greenspan is the single most important man in this country". I might even go further and say that he has more power than our own pres. Shelia do a little research.

Let's get it right folks.

Alan Greenspan may be the single most important voice in this country.

Who he speaks for is an entirely different question. You would do well to pay attention to E. Coli's opinion on the matter.

Greenspan, Klinton et al are puppets. They do what they're told.

That's right and Bill does what his little wee wee tells him to do.
