I would like to know if there are digital 'films' available that would fit into the back of a conventional camera. That is an insert for a conventional camera that would allow digital photos to be taken with it. I would like to keep using my 'old' Olympus conventional SLR cameras as they have the lenses I prefer to use.

So far, no -- There's a company called Imagek (www.imagek.com) that's been talking about something like this for over a year now, but so far no product. (Tricky integration/packaging problem!) I've heard they're about to go into a "beta test" phase, but I wouldn't expect to see anything commercially for another year yet, if then. Sorry, I'd like one too, to use with all my Nikon gear...
