The Ministry of Health and Welfare reported that all of Japan's major companies were compliant, because if they weren't it would be too late to do anything. True enough, but when pressed for details, the representative only repeated the message. ...

Key point from end of article: "You only need to start worrying when deadlines aren't met."

A recent survey stated that 92% of all companies have missed Y2K deadlines. I think it's time to start worrying, if you haven't figured that out already.

Except in Japan, of course.
