AlgorithmsII

Hi,

This is part II to my question.

So Mike what I understand from your post back to me with Algorithm #1 I can pick one processor like HIFREQ STIMULATOR, PARAMETRIC EQ, STEEP RESONANT BASS etc. But there are other algorithms that I can use up to 3 blocks and select from a list of those processes listed.

I am trying to imitate a specific analog sound on the K2500 from another keyboard that used both a 4pole highpass and 4 pole lowpass filter that had the effect of the cutoff level assigned to the modwheel. This allowed me to open up or close the filters with the mod wheel while playing the sound. Is there an algorithm that I can do a 4polelowpass and a 4polehighpass together with? The programing chapter 6 or DSP chapter 14 doesn't list what each algorithm can do seperately.

Thanks Again

Mark

A number of the algorithms allow you to use both a 2Pole Lowpass and 2 pole lowpass simulataneously. The 4 pole isn't available in combination with another filter.

Hi,

What it sounds like to me, is that you are describing a NOTCH filter. A NOTCH filter is a combination of a LOWPASS and a HIGHPASS filter in series with each other. So look for an algortyhm which has a NOTCH filter and a LP2RES block in it.

hope this helps, Brian Cowell,
