I am not sure if it is just laziness, busy-ness, or lack of an ordered mind, but I have the hardest time keeping my photo library in good working order. If I were rich enough, i would hire someone full time just to deal with that aspect of my career. But until then, any good suggestions? What I am trying currently is to put the parts of the library that get frequent trawling seperate from from the general files. Still, it gets chaotic more quickly than i would like. I don't think a captioning system per se is what I need, but bar coding would make it faster to fill out delivery memos, nor a new physical system (I have used notebooks in the past and now use a combination of hanging files, and file folders.
