Who makes a flatbed scanner with a front video input jack?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I recently read an article which mentioned that a flatbed scanner with a front video input jack is on the market; however, I am not sure who manufacturers it. Such a feature would be ideal for those of us who would like to scan pictures from a digital camera or digital camcorder frames directly into a scanner. Any information as to the manufacturer? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I think it was Storm Technologies who had this, and they're now out of business. It seems to me there was another company looking to do this as well, but I can't call it to mind. We did report on scanners of this type on our "News" page, so (if you're patient enough) you could find it by reading back through our News archives (follow the links at the bottom of the current News page). - We really need to get an in-site search engine in place to handle these sorts of issues, but until then, you'll need to rely on your eyeballs. Good Luck, wish I could be more specific! :-(
