Anybody know of any Y2K community prep groups in Toronto and/or Southern Ontario? Anybody interested in starting one?

Wow, I figured there would be all kinds of responses to your quaere for y2k groups in Toronto. You got one from somewhere near. In all those millions of people in that megalopolis, only one group. It's early so hopefully there will be more. So few people seem to care about the issues. Polls suggest most people have heard of y2k. When the mass psychology sets in, probably when the stock market has its final crash in October, the panic will start. This won't be a 2000 problem, it will start before that. By the way, in Nelson B.C. in November, they drew 420 people to a y2k discovery night. Do you see anything like that happening in Toronto?

You might look at Ontario 2000 which lists the Toronto Y2K Preparedness Group in mid-Toronto. There are other Canadian groups listed on the community page at Resilience 2000.
