ABC News: Y2K site and live chat

ABC News finally has a Y2K site. Looks like they've enlisted Mitch Ratcliffe (from ZDNET) for their chat room. For your edification and amusement, transcript of the first chat seesion (Jan. 25) is at:

ABC News - Mitch Ratcliffe Chat

My $.02: Mitch's answers veer unfailingly toward the positive; rare responses to any negative scenarios or issues. Rather a sense of patting all the chatters on the head and telling them everything's fine...

And don't get me started on that article on the Intro page. Schizoid and meandering: "Your coffee pot will work, errr, there may be a few failures, errrr, it's no big deal, errr, make sure you have hard copy of all your financials, errr..." *sheesh*

You're too kind, Matt. That's the biggest bunch of crap I've heard since the State of the Union speech. If I didn't know better, I'd think the questioners were a bunch of shills. Hell, now that I think about it, they probably were. Sheesh.
