Can the Canon PowerShot A5 only play back captured images to the video output, or live video also like the Fuji MX700?

I *think* only previously captured images, but best to check with Canon on this one. - Sorry to be so vague: My memory is that the A5 doesn't do live video, but don't want to turn you off the camera, and have my memory end up being faulty!

Verified with Canon: No live video function !
