National Public Radio is running an interesting spot on the public's demand for accurate reporting on y2k and preparation. It started at about 5:39 pm, EST, so maybe it will rerun on the hour or half hour.

Heard it. Seems somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of Americans want more and better information. It did include a clip from a New York lady who called those storing supplies "the lunatic fringe". Sigh.....
