S.B. 666, Civil Liability for Year 2000 Problems, has three core areas that it addresses: prohibit punitive damages, allow for alternate mechanisims for resolution disputes stemming from y2k problems and limits class action lawsuits. A similar house bill would grant immunity to Indiana governmental entities and the employees of governmental entitities from errors resulting from any y2k related errors.
