When will the new HP DesignJet 1050C supported under PosterShop 4.5 ?

I am assuming you are talking about the newly announced DesignJet from HP. This printer was only announced on Saturday, January 30, 1999 and Software RIP vendors do not have specs or a printer yet. Including ONYX. We are scheduled to get one within a couple of weeks, and I am sure it will become a high priority for a driver once we receive the printer.

You can drive the HP 1050 using the current PosterShop HP2000 driver. The HP2000 driver will drive the 1050 IN NON-VARWARE MODE ONLY. Also, the profiles in the 2000 driver wont work with the 1050, so you'll need to recalibrate and tweak your media model, but it will drive the 1050.

Onyx will be releasing the actual 1050 driver, including profiles and varware support, sometime in April.
