The idea of reduced power in the grid to prevent potential equipment meltdowns seems to a conservative odds-favorite for any electric utility to pursue. As embedded systems prove their ability to handle larger electric supply, then "amperage" could be increased. Just how conservative will the utilities be, is the big question. Any insights?
