Antibiotics availability

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I saw on the communist news network last night that the FDA is going to tighten up availability of agricultural antibiotics. I have seen a lot of post on various boards about people planning to supplement their medicine chest with ag. grade Tetracycline and Amoxycillin etc. If this is in your plans you better get it while you can. I'm not even going to get into what an idiotic idea this is with the looming collapse of the medical system, or the possible conspiracy theories as to the intentional thinning of the herd.

Pharmacyinternational has a good selection of medicines available through overseas ordering. Don't know for how long though.

I saw that sight and wondered if there was a problem with shipping without prescriptions.

I would like to get some penecillin (sp?) but it's illegal in this country to have these without a prescription. Would the feds or customs find out about this and arrest you?

You can always go to your local pet store, and get antibiotics. They're intended for FISH, but they are useable by humans also, generally. Ask a friendly pharmacist to be sure. :)

Yeah, I need some pills, because I have a very sick fish. :)
