What is Hawaii's state bird?
-- Deb Nykamp (firstname.lastname@example.org), January 28, 1999
I'm in the construction business and we jokingly say the State Bird is the crane. Get it? The building crane. At least that's what we hope for. It keeps us employed.
I do know the State Bird is the Nene.

Actually the nene is not the state bird. It is the bumble hawk which is pretty much rare. I will sell one on E-bay sometime next month
