I am computer novice new to scanners, and am looking for a middle of the road flatbed scanner. ( in the are of $250.00 Canadian) Where can I find articles rating the different types of home scanners with their pros & cons.

Hi Gail, sorry for the slow response. So far, I haven't seen any site like ours, rating home flatbed scanners, and I frankly don't know where to tell you to turn. Your best bet would be to find on-line copies of scanner reviews from print publications, but searching for them will be tedious! Wish I had more for you, good luck!

I've found ZNET and CNET very good sources on scanners and other computer-related products. They offer sections of reviews by PC Magazine, Family Computing and others plus give details of a variety of products, comparisons and average prices.
