On all the Islands, what is the most exciting thing to do in April.

It's a tough question to answer as there are so many things to do. It just depends on what you like to do. There is a great event calendar at (http://calendar.gohawaii.com/) by Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau ("HVCB"). You can choose by dates and by events (Visual Arts, Special Events, Land Sports, Performing Arts, Ethnic Events, Ocean Sports, Lectures & Workshops, or Festivals, Parades & Exhibits). Here are some: On Oahu, there's the Hawaii Professional Rodeo, Anthurium Show, or Honolulu International Bed Race Festival, but for me, it's the Merrie Monarch Festival-"the" hula competition (even gets televised live throughout the state).
