I need information on digital cameras that are suitable for use as an outdoor webcam. I need a camera that is weather-proof, medium to high resolution, auto-focus, capable of sending images to a PC computer.

The cameras best-suited to webcam use are the "PC video" ones, which are pretty sparsely represented on this site - The Kodak DVC-323 is the only one we've reviewed. The various still cameras are often capable of being controlled via software, so they may work for your application. I haven't seen them in this country yet, but Oly has waterproof cases for their compact digital cameras available in Japan. Hope this helps, wish I had more for you.
