For how long were the actors working on the film?

Titanic took 9 months to complete, I believe. But for how long were the actors working on the film? I do believe Kate Winslet had to get up at 4:00 a.m. and work until late at night weekly, but for how long did she have to do this? Just one of thie things you have to think about, I guess - if the hydraulics and the long process of sinking the ship again and again took, let's say 5 months, did that mean that the actors were working every day for 4 months? Just curious. Thanks!

Kelly:

Principal photography was 160 days, not including days off. There was an extended holiday of several weeks over Xmas/New Years of 1996 for Leo, Kate and Billy Zane.

Kate and Leo had to come back for a brief reshoot (for pick-up shots of Jack and Rose running through a hallway) during post-production, when the fight between Jack and Lovejoy were edited-out.
