Think I might be building me a controller soon...greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread |
Well, since I haven't been able to find a paddle controller to use with arkanoid and other paddle games for the pc in over a year! I decided to go through this amusement company called happs controls that I believe can get the controller for me. It will be the original one as in the arcade, so I will have to modify it to work with the pc joystick port. I can't believe there isn't a paddle controller ANYWHERE on the internet or in any store. I don't care about the price it's the convenience of being able to use it. I really don't want to have to modify a arcade one because of the labor part of it and also the price is about $110 US! But there's nothing like the feel of the original controller, in fact played the Tournement ver. Arkanoid last night and got 1,350,950! With a mouse, maybe 100,000! :( Very aggrivating!Later, Steve Krogman

If anyone has any idea how to adapt an arcade typre controller to usb, I would really appreciate any info you have. Long live the paddle controller!
