It's well exposed and an interesting subject, but if I were you I'd try to go back and take it (or similar) again with diffuse sunlight coming from behind and to the side to give the foreground thingies more depth. But maybe the scan doesn't do it justice and the snow texture is enough? The shadows in the background are important, though so maybe this isn't the spot. Also lose the tree.
