Baygen style wind-up electric pianos

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

As an avid piano man who is concerned about the potential for loss of power, I am working on an electric piano that can instead be run by winding it up in the same way that a Baygen radio works.....

It's a bit of a challenge......it's a full 88 key piano......

What do I call it, you might ask...........

Ah, simple............The long and winding Rhodes

Yama haha Arlin. I had a grand piano once. Fell down a mine shaft unfortunately.

What did I get? A flat miner.

Craig, I think you should come down off of your IVORY tower and learn to play the piano the old-fashioned way!

Doubt you'll be able to sustain it, relying solely on cut-time...

Arlin H. Adams;

I don't know. I guess that it would depend on the scale of damage it would do to him.

This would kind of be like: How fa did it fall?

So, I believe that he may make it. If he wasn't cleft in two by it you can try some latte and maybe a donut to try to scale down the pain a little bit.

Re would know but he ain't here right now - Mi, I'll just have to guess.
