You mentioned most of the flowers grow in yours or a neighbors years. Do all or most of these flowers grow on all of the islands?

Yes. They are pretty common plants/flowers. We do have some indigineous plants that we are starting to grow which are less common, but as a whole most of the flowers grow wild on all the islands.

For some of the plants, I do prune them only because I take flower cuttings to bring in to draw or for graves, but for most, nature takes care of it. Because they're so plentiful, I sometimes enjoy them in the yard and sometimes bring them in for arrangements. I'm not allergic to any flowers, but have an allergy to mango which is a relative of poison oak.

Do you have to "prune" your plants in Hawaii or do the Gods take care of them in a natural way? Do you have any allergies to the plants when the aroma is so potent? Do you ever cut the flowers and bring them in or do you admire them in your yard - I do some of both but prefer to leave my flowers in my yard so all can enjoy.
