Where can I find a battery for old F1 ?

Where can I get the battery for the light meter for the old F1 ? What type of battery is it? Thank you. Regards, Tom.

Tom, try http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/bronbattery.html. They should be able to fix you up, and keep your F-1 going. I believe it's a mercury battery, but this sites camera review section can tell you. Tom

Your (old) F-1 requires a PX625 mercury battery. Same sized alkaline batteries will result in wrong metering results and should be avoided.

Or just using a servo-ee finder instead... (need to carry a battery pack)...
