Pacific Ocean Wall is way better than Lost in America. Sure, they're both fun, but if you have to choose one or the other pick P.O. It's longer, timeless and you go up the most beutiful part of El Cap. I hear most if not all the anchors have been replaced too, just watch out for those dowels, (I'm sure some are replaced) they are pretty sketchy. Lost in America is fun too, I just don't think the two routes can be compared, Lost in America is a lot shorter, and it seems like everyone's climbing it these days. If you wan't a really good route to do, try South Seas to P.O or to Mescalito or Even to New Dawn, now that is a beutiful part of El Cap.

Hi Ronnie! Although I've never done Lost in America, I would sure take Chris' word for it that P.O. is better. P.O. is an all-time classic, one I had always wanted to do ever since reading about it in the old Yosemite Climber picture book from the late 70's. Check out this bitchin' web site my parner made up for it! Cheers, Pete
