I am an engine man--I ADVISE people on Emergancy-Home-Power--Gen-Sets--NOTE--if you live in the North of the USA--a lawn mower type engine with a Splash oil system will not last very long! Due to the extreme below Zero weather conditions--a pull start engine is also not the answer! Ido NOT SELL Generators! I simply give Advice on the type--size & proper installation of them! My post was deleted yet there are several ADDS on your site SELLING GENRATORS I would like to know WHATS GOING ON!!! The people selling Diesl Gen-Sets quote a price as LOW? I can inform people as where they can purchase a GOOD Diesel Gen-Set at Hundreds of $ dollars LESS than the price quote on this site! Jim, I just post here like everyone else. I have no monitoring status. Jeff is correct; Rick did post a few days ago that he would be away, but I'm sure he will resume activities here as soon as he can. The man is so busy it boggles the mind, and nobody can do everything at once.

I concur that the Yourdon Forum is the place for great help and advice on all kinds of Y2K topics and I recommend it to readers who are looking for specifics.
