I'm looking to purchase a Kodak 260 digital camera. How can I tell, other than checking each camera, if I will have the same LCD image problem that was talked about in your article?

I think the "ghosting" behavior we observed is pretty universal, its been widely reported - it has to do with how the LCD is updated from the CCD sensor. Check one camera, decide if that's acceptable, then make your decision accordingly.
