DC260

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

We have just purchased a DC 260 with great expectations. Our indoor test shots left us somewhat disappointed. In the highest quality mode the shots showed a file size of 170k,but there was not a lot of detail in the shot to be fair. We use Adobe Photodeluxe. I suppose we need to practise but would anyone have any pointers or tips. Do we just import the picture in Adobe and then can we up the resolution? I had hoped that the megapixel would give us more info that what we see. Are we just too new and dont understand how to interface the camera with the software? Thanks!

Sounds like you DON'T have the camera set to highest resolution. A file from 'High' image resolution (1536 x 1024) and 'Best' compression should be about 500k.
