Where can I get replica dinnerware from Titanic {lowered case}

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TitanicShack : One Thread

I HAVE BEEN AN AVID TITANIC FAN FOR YEARS AND COLLECT WHATEVER I CAN FIND. I AM VERY INTERESTED IN OBTAINING SOME REPLICA PIECES OF THE DINNER WARE USED ON THE TITANIC SUCH AS: SILVERWARE, PLATES, TEA CUPS, SAUCERS. I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN WHETHER THERE IS ANY REPLICA CARPETTING OR WALLPAPER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE BY THE PUBLIC.

Custom search link on eBay for "titanic dinnerware".

I don't know if there is any reproduction carpeting or wallpaper currently available; anyone know if those replica Titanic projects ever got beyond the glossy brochure and website phase?

I know the J. Peterman company HAD them. I emphasise "had". You may want to try eBay and search under "J. Peterman". Good Luck.

Yes, the J Peterman catalog had the dinnerware and some glasses but that was several months ago so Laura is very right in saying that they might be gone. I'm sorry to say that their web page doesn't have any info on these items (or at least didn't last time I looked) But you may still get their phone number there and call them. As for the carpet or wallpaper...I doubt if any of that is available. I think James Cameron had to have the places that made them remake them for his film but I'm sure that cost a pretty penny and then he went and doused them in water! (LOL) But the place that made the carpet was BMK-Stoddard of England. Maybe they can answer your question.

I am in possession of carpet from the film set of TITANIC starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet. The carpet is from the 1st Class Lounge and also the 1st Class Dining-Room areas. AUTHENTICITY PROVIDED. Check out my Ebay Auctions for stunning framed samples. Just type in TITANIC CARPET in the search box to go straight to my auctions.
