When is the Sony Mavica with 200Mb HiFD drive anticipated?

I don't think anybody has heard, but I'd think its a little ways off yet, since it wasn't that long ago that Sony rev'd their whole Mavic line with the 2x speed conventional floppy drives...

Sony started to push the HiFD drive very seriously whithin last two months, they have signed up agreements with quite a few OEMs. If the HiFD takes off as Sony expect it to, then Sony Mavica will be using the 200MB storage media too. Remeber Sony cashed in, on the ease of data transfer from Mavica to PC. Without large installed base of HiFD, might as well consider other already available storage media such as ATA cards (PCMCIA Type II), used by the latest Sony DigiCam, the DSC-D700 to be introduced to market very soon.
