This does work for me Gary. I have been trying to figure out why. I can see what you were after in the interesting fog. The tree on the left, although needed in the composition is not too interesting. The lower snow bank has a nice curve to it but the big gap between it and the fog is dead center and not too interesting. Just my opinion and I might be wrong!

Interesting shot Gary. Nice textures in the snow and the fog is interesting. I can tell you are a guy who is not afraid to go out in the cold. I too think that the center section needs a bit more going on as you have framed it with interesting things top and bottom. The hot spot in the upper r. corner bothers me a bit and I keep covering it with my hand to examine the rest of the picture. But all in all, well worth posting!

Oops, Garry with 2 "r". Sorry, that's twice I've done that.

Micheal and Mike, thank you for your useful comments on the image. Now I better understand why I was of mixed mind when I posted it. I was excited by the texture of the fog but perplexed by some of the other elements.

It's perplexing to me too. It's not an abstract, yet I can't really figure out what I'm looking at in the upper part of the frame.
