Since you mentioned "channels," I suspect you may not be connecting via a *video* input. Digital cameras output raw video signals, not modulated onto a radio-frequency carrier to convert them to a TV "channel". Look on your VCR and/or TV for an RCA-style jack (smooth outside, red, yellow, or white plastic inner ring) labelled "Video In." That's where you want to plug the output of the camera into. You may also need to select the external video input for display, whether on the TV or VCR. If on the VCR, you'll also need the TV set to the same channel as you normally use to view movies from the VCR on. Easier to do than explain about -- just find a "video in" jack, and fiddle from there. Good luck!
