Cory's report has been out several days now. Infomagic leaves me dumbfounded! Amazed there has been no discussion of this?

How about it.

Hello, The latest essay from Infomagic is old news. He has taken the standard line of those preparing with the militias and spun it to fit his y2k scenario. All of the information he provides has been hashed out and refined by hundreds of so-called "patriots" over the past 5 years on many other forums. Fortunately, most of it is simply a scare tactic. These rumors of weapons confiscation have been around for 20 years, but haven't come to fruition. I have several caches that are prepared just as he suggests. They have been in place for 4-5 years and recent checks found them to be in great shape. I doubt I will need them anymore for y2k than I did for the big government crackdown and dictatorial take over that has been predicted for years...

Up until I read the latest DC WRP I had been fairly impressed with what I thought was a remote possibility/scenario by Infomagic; however the latest article Infomagic III makes him/her sound like a real nutcase....the kind of "survivalist" that the media usually talks about. Infomagic III makes Paul Milne sound just like a regular guy! Kitty in VA

That's because as we edge nearer and nearer to the catastrophe, reading things like Infomagics predictions become more and more unsettling. Denial can be all powerful.

"That's because as we edge nearer and nearer to the catastrophe, reading things like Infomagics predictions become more and more unsettling. Denial can be all powerful. "

Predictions or absolute bullshit? Info showed a truly interesting side to himself...that of yet another person looking for the fall of our society. It was a well thought out piece to legally protect himself, but he made some really scary comments and suggestions for what he was very thinly hiding.

Infomagic sounds plausible enough to me. And I am definitely beginning to smell a rat with Mr Howard's little gun consfiscation move a couple of years back.

I'm now praying I'll be in the US when TSHTF. And even then it probably won't be pretty.

What was that in the Constitution that said something about protection from "enemies foreign and domestic?"

Leo,

The phrase you refer to is not in the Constitution, but in the oath that is taken by members of the executive branch of government, including all members of the armed forces.

The oath includes the promise to, "...support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. . ."
