EOS500N remote control

I want to build a remote control myself. I think that it is not too difficult but I don't want to damage the body. Have somebody built it and can help me? Thanks...

Given that they are so cheap (around $20 in the US), it really doesn't seem worthwhile building one yourself. I don't know the connections, but someone else might I guess. If so I hope they'll post an answer here.

Try www.dsp.com/chantal/remoteControl.htm - be sure to notice the capital 'C' burried in the URL. I never bothered to build this myself, but may one day. If you factor in the time involved, it is cheaper to just buy the Canon remote, as Bob said.
