Dave Barry's take on Y2K

pshannon, saw that too in the San Jose Mercury News last week.

Pretty much, the Silicon Valley's Merc is leaning on the "maybe there is, maybe there isn't a Y2K problem" fence centerpoint.

My sister is a college educated, mother of 2, Don't Want To Get It. Last night on the phone she mentioned to me that Dave Barry wrote about Y2k in his column and proceeded to tell me why there is a problem... memory was expensive in the 60's.... yadda yadda yadda. She thinks Bill Gates's computer wizards are working on a cure at this time and there will be nothing to worry about. My point is Dave Barry's column is the only thing that has prompted her to join me in a conversation. I really wish he could have been alittle more informative about the impact of Y2k other than the typical elevator being stuck scenario.
