I have an Artec Viewstation AM12E scanner and a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 722c. I have connected everything the right way. Do I need a bidirectional cable. I was told it didn't matter. In the beginning both communicated, but not now. Tell me what to do. Thanks, Carol
