First Serious Article on Y2Kgreenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread
Quite a shock, I didn't think it would happen this fast but they finally printed a serious article. http://www.sptimes.com/News/123198/NorthPinellas/Glitch_could_strike_a.html Sam's Club watch out! Best wishes to all for 1999. Diana

Of course, it's great if awareness is raised, but this article does the same backstep that they all do -- From the St. Petersburg Times article:
"...I just see a tremendous number of annoyances and most of the annoyances will be a matter of delays," Prast said. "All of these problems are doing nothing more than revealing shortcomings in the methodologies that we've been using to program computers over the years."
We have yet to see mainstream news represent the threats of Y2K authentically.
