Y2k forums

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I'm a newbie & have been lurking this past week. Very interesting forum. Last night I found a list here of yk forums. It was posted around the 23rd of this month. when I tried to find it tonight,it was gone. I started checking the archives but didn't know where to look.I tried misc.& there was one there, but not the same.I think the one i'm looking for was submitted by Peter.(not sure). Also, I was going to put it in my favorite file but no red heart to click on when I got there from the link in the forum. I'm new at this,so if you have any suggestions to help me out, I would appreciate it.Also, why do I have to keep moving this little window over to type? The index is to the left of htis window & I can't see what I'm typing...sorry so long. :)

Carol,

You can go to this site and read/contribute to this forum much easier. ie: without the frames. I got the tip from someone else in the forum a while back. http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=000LRX Blessings.

Carol:

You will have a LOT better luck with this url::

http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=TimeBomb%202000%20% 28Y2000%29

While the one above (ends in LRX) will work, it only works for this thread.

the one here works for the index.

And here's a kind of crazy one, with some 'ad hominem' stuff going on w.r.t. Gary North, but worth looking at for the spirited and fiesty contingent of never-say-die Polyanna's who hang out there: GaryNorthIdiotForum

Many, many thanks for the link to Pastor Chris' site! Knew he had one, but couldn't figure out where.

Carol,

It seems like most anything that is important to know about Y2K ends up or starts on this forum. Make it a regular stop.

A great big welcome to all "newbies!" We were all there once.

Download Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and you can put your cursor on the scroll bar on your left and use the arrow thingies and move the scroll bar to the left which will make the writing area fit in the frame.

Thanks for the Great Big Welcome, Squire, about time.

Have a Nice Day
