Abrams File Where did it go

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

The Abrams file is now a blank screen. Can anyone tell us where it went and where it came from. I have been following this thread and was going to print it off this morning. I passed it along to the newspaper last night, lot of good they will get from it now if it is blank. Did anyone print it out and can you recopy it for us. I am wondering how many others sent it to their newspapers.

This is *exactly* why I copy parts of articles onto these threads! The URLS don't last. We are trying to share with other Y2K researchers; we are compiling a "history of awareness" with this Forum; future readers need to know what we're talking about! If Diane hadn't copied some highlights for us to see, we wouldn't have any record on here of what was on those govt pages. Same with news sources. It is inconsiderate *not* to post the actual articles. IMHO. When I read thru the archives, 90% of links lead to blank pages or Error Messages. Case rested.

I copied the entire file. Did it on paper though. I will be glad to send you a copy.

See my last post (Dec. 30) on the thread Video conference by Janet Abrams Dec. 17.

Sorry about that.

Stuck the full-text under your other post Tom. Whenever I see an "interesting" article, etc., I "always" copy a digital version, and print version of it.

Chances are, if it's anything I've posted or commented on, I've got a copy. You can e-mail me if the link has "disappeared." (Yes, I'm a "real" person with a working e-mail address).

The original URL was a gopher site; the transcript has been moved to:
