FILM LOADING for Minox C/LX/TLX/CLX Step 1. Pull open and push close the camera several times to bring the film counter to LOADING position: 15 EXP film at red line before 15; 36 EXP film at red line before 36; 30 exp film at #32. Step (2) Pull open the camera and turn it over on its back. Press down (( shape lock near chain end with thumb nail with thumb nail; pull the camera back cover fully apart to show the film chambers. Step (3) Insert the Minox film cassette, there is only one way you can do it. Step (4). Snap close the camera back cover. Push pull camera two times to set the counter to its start position: 15 EXP film to # 15; 36 EXP film to # 36; 30 EXP film to # 30. Step 4. Turn FILM SPEED dial at camera back to set ASA/DIN. The camera is now ready for use. Minox C/LX/TLX/CLX has count down counter, when it reaches 0, the film ends. Do not pass #0 , otherwise the film lead may be drawn completely into the take up side. Minox C/LX/TLX/CLX has "freewheeling" mechanism, you may pull open camera take a look through viewfinder, if you decide the view is not worth taking you may close the camera, and the film will not advances to next frame, unlike II/III/IIIs/B. For Minox C/LX/TLX/CLX film advances to next position only after you press the shutter release.
