Red Tulip: Film: Kodachrome 64 - Camera: Pentax LX, Lens: normal 50mm 1.4+extension tubes. No exposure data was recorded. This photo was taken as a part of a series I called "zero depth of field images" a few years ago.

An interesting study of values and well composed; a strong diagonal placed offcenter. There seem to be some artifacts from the scan that make it difficult to get past the surface into the picture. While this type of image may be too abstract for some taste, I like it and encourage you to continue to post them. Good to see Kodachrome 64 show up again.

Bahman,

I wish I could respond to your image, but it is so large for my screen that I can't see more than about 60% of it at a time even with my image area maximized. Please post smaller images, in accordance with the guidelines.

If it is possible to have an image that is to simple, then this is it there is not enough to keep my interest. I still like your work though, :)
