This image was taken with a Nikon N70, Vivitar 100 macro with 1:1 adapter, tripod, f22, exposure time ~2 seconds. No flash. Fuji Superia 400 (all I had with me). This was scanned from a print. Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks, and have a great holiday season!

Joe, it looks kind of fuzzy and course on my screen; Since it loaded so fast, I suspect it is a very low rez scan and you could scan it at a higher rez. Merry Christmas.

Very nice, Joe, but don't you have some box turtle pictures to post? Seriously, the combination of colors, especially the light blue triangles, works well for me. A little soft in places, but at f22, where you gonna go? I think your choice of the primary point of focus is the correct one.

Mike, thanks for reminding me... I forgot to mention that I used a compression utility called JPeg Optimizer to make the file smaller. The thing is shareware and works beautifully! The change is slightly noticeable, but not very... It took this file from 100k to 47k with only the minor speckling you see. Anyway, I will post an uncompressed version on my page and then post the URL here. Thanks!

Peter, thanks as always for commenting!

I like the shapes but the colors seem a bit washed out. Perhaps better light would brighten it up and add more detail.
