I just discovered an exceptionally insightful & comprehensive article on the dire economic consequences of Y2K, written by Dr. Yardeni, Chief Economist, Deutsche Securities Bank, New York. Please forward the article on to your friends & family who "don't get it". If they still "don't get it" after reading this article, then don't waste your time on converting them any more -- they will be blind to all reason.

You could say Dr. Yardeni's article is optimistic, if you expect all Y2K articles to discuss preparing for TEOTWAWKI. This article is about how and why there will economic disruption because of Y2K.

Dr. Edward Yardeni is an economist, and that's what he's discussing-- the economy. Don't expect a discussion of how to prepare personally for Y2K. If you know someone still in the stock market, though, this article might persuade them to pull out.
