Someone posted something about Scotchshield for coating windows. I realize that our windows are our most vulnerable point, and would like to know more about Scotchshield.

Answers

It comes in 3 thicknesses, 1.5 mil, 4 mil, 6 mil.

All of them will make it harder from somebody to break in, and will keep the window from shattering when hit by a rock or shotgun blast. Will not stop rifle bullet. If there were a bad quake or y2k, it might be a long time before a window could be repaired. Needs to be installed, can be expensive. Does not provide insulation.
