Tonight there will be an article on the Discover channel (on Discovery) about Y2K. I'm not to sure of the time, I think at 8 pm. Won't be able to watch it, but I'll try to tape it.

Discovery channel is doing a 5-10 minute feature each night this week. Although they mention the possibility of chaos, the general attitude is that the problem is being solved. Tonight the IT V-P of Ontario Hydro said he would never buy a generator. Last night they talked about Telco's, tomorrow the Federal Gov't. Also last night on newsworld Ann Petrie Talk?, Peter de Jager was on. Has he changed his stripes. I guess the $700,000 he has made this year on his speaking engagements has tempered his outlook. He sounds like a mouthpiece for the corporate world now with things like don't take money out of the bank, it is the safest place for it.
