Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe

Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe, 1996, Canon AE1 20mm, Velvia. This is a great place to spend the early morning. It's one of those rare places where I'd almost rather put my camera down and just sit and enjoy the view

the dark vertical shadow in the lower right hand corner needs to be cropped out. Also the balance seems off because of the rock in the far left foreground and not much in the water at the upper left.

Despite the valid points raised by Richard, I'm glad you didn't just put your camera down. I really like the blues of the sky and water contrasted with the whites of the clouds and snow. I haven't had the pleasure of being there but can well imagine the pleasure it would bring.

Even though you have some nice morning lighting, to me the harsh shadows in the foreground are a bit distracting. Did you shoot any other perspectives?
