Very beautiful!! The only tiny criticism I have is that I'd prefer the exposure (the scan?) a little bit darker. PS.: What flower is it? What aperture did you use?

Very nice, I like all of the lines. I think the DOF could be improved slightly, and a little less croping on the bottom where there is the green triangle that leads nowhere.

A simple and beautiful image, weel exposed and beautifully composed. It needs a light gray (?) border (about 2 pixels thick) to separate it from the white cackground. Shallow DOF makes it more interesting. Thanks for sharing.

A border would be nice, otherwise MARVELOUS !!

I've no idea what's the name of this flower but I simply love it. The first time I came across this flower was 2.5 years ago during a trip to Malaysia and had a nice shot of it.
Recently, the flower becomes a common sight in Singapore. This shot is beyong life size and I can only shoot this composition after I acquired a 25mm extension tube recently. http://www.singnet.com.sg/~weekh

I know how a bee feels. The image pulls the eye to the pollen in a very strong fashion. The black then traps the eye there. Very strong focal point.

Beautiful! I love the soft and subtle, fading colors of the petals contrasted with the dark, sharp core of the flower. Nice composition too. Great shot!
