Hello, I've bought a scanner mustek scanexpress 6000p It works but my printer doesn't anymore I've a compaq presario and the lpt port is configured like an ecp one and I would like to change it in epp how to do?

I'll leave a full answer for the Windows experts, but I've found it by far the easiest to just buy a $20 parallel-port switchbox to switch between different units, rather than wasting time trying to get everything living together cooperatively...
