Isn't the Internet the 'Devil's Tower' rock formation of our day? Here is where we get the vast majority of our information, are researching Y2K, and are 'compelled' to go to talk with others about what we are all so very interested in. Something that isn't of such interest to others...yet. Without the net, how much knowledge poorer would we all be. It's far from perfect, but could we have even done what we are doing now, learning now, even 10 years ago? We GIs are already meeting here in cyberspace, which is not unlike the old wild, wild west in some respects. Just as in the movie, we with a common interest and uncommon understanding are together, for a time.
