what happened in Springfield,MO?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I heard on gary norths site a while back that the "test" run at a utility company in springfield,MO went without any major glitches. What does this mean? Did it mean they turned everything off and turned it back on reading year 2000? Did they do a fix on failure? It seemed like a hopeful sign, but I dont understand what they did. sophia

Craig - and think carefully about this before you reply - just which hand were you planning on using for the secret handshake?

From looking at the photo a little closer, I think I speak for everyone when I say the right hand. The left hand could easily be construed as being fully employed already.

Chuckles, Robert. Looks like it may be "back to nature."

I think all those people that refuse to comment in this thread are just homerphobic.

As usual, the question is not answered - instead a bunch of off the wall doomsday cliches. Why don't one or two of you Y2K people actually research and answer the question? Or are facts not important to your kind?

We'll get there, we'll get there. No, I don't have that answer yet.
